Sublime Design in the Community
In mid-July, 2008 we celebrated our fifth year in business and marked the occasion by GIVING BACK to the community, in gratitude of our good fortune and your support.
We discovered an amazing non-profit called Home Start, located in City Heights, which provides services for children and their families living in poverty. Their children’s playroom desperately needed revamping, and they had just received a generous grant from Las Patronas and the Friends of Children United Society (FOCUS) to purchase materials for that purpose.

Sublime Design Interiors, LLC donated our time by designing an Enchanted Forest playroom for the children to use while their parents attend counseling sessions. It is a safe and magical place!
Dozens of volunteers, including our contractor of several years, Clayton Miller with Quality Home Remodeling, graciously offered to provide the bulk of the labor at no charge! Many individuals and companies donated books, toys, and silk plants to complete the project.
It has been a true blessing to witness so many organizations and individuals coming together in support of this community based collaborative effort. Thank you to all who participated, especially the counselors and social workers of Home Start, who have been providing much needed services to San Diego families since 1972!
